This is one of the best combi boilers in our opinion, offering very good value for money. The older models of IDEA boiler were a nightmare, but the manufacturer has significantly improved the quality of their products in the last 3-4 years. Now, they are easy to service and maintain. There is quite a long warranty (5 years) when installed by an authorised dealer like us. Replacement parts are not very expensive too. Indeed, it is a reliable boiler at a very affordable price.

“How long will it take to install my new boiler and much will a new boiler cost?”
There are several factors which have a direct impact on the final price of your new boiler. The first factor is the brand of your new gas boiler (Worcester Bosch, Vaillant boiler, IDEAL boiler, Baxi boiler etc). The top 2 brands we always recommend to our customers are Worcester boilers and Vaillant boilers.
However, for those who have a limited budget for a new gas boiler, we always recommend installing IDEAL boilers. The second, very important factor is whether you require a straight swap of your existing boiler. A straight boiler swap is always less expensive than moving your combi boiler to a new location.
Worcester boilers are known for their reliability and long life span. When asked by our customers which boiler to choose, we always recommend 2 brands: VAILLANT OR BOSCH WORCESTER. Our third recommendation for people who have a tight budget is always an IDEAL boiler.
A deeply power-flushed system, magnetic central heating filter and proper installation will make sure your BOSCH WORCESTER works faultlessly for many years. Worcester boilers are very efficient. Even the smallest 24KW versions can deliver up to 13 litres of hot water per minute. The only negative side with Worcester Boilers are repairs.
This is because internal access to some parts of the boiler might be restricted. Some parts (pressure relief valve, for example) may take up to 2 hours to exchange. The exchange of the same part in VAILLANT boilers takes approx. 20 minutes.
Overall, we would highly recommend Bosch Worcester Greenstar boilers, as they guarantee many years faultless usage without costly expenditure for repairs.

Do you own a large 4-5 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms and shower room? If your answer is YES, then you probably would need to install a system boiler or conventional boiler. Additionally, you would have to find some extra room to install a hot water cylinder. The reason for this is due to the increased periodic hot water demand. Imagine you take a shower in one bathroom. The shower room is used by your child and your wife is using hot water in the kitchen at the same time. By installing a standard combination boiler (42KW), you will probably lose water pressure from your shower head.

The answer is YES! Vaillant engineers invented a combination boiler with 2 integrated hot water cylinders inside of your combination boiler. It means you will always have some preheated, ready to use water when needed.
You will be able to use 2 or 3 hot water outlets at the same time. This means you won’t significantly lose water pressure on any of the taps or shower head. By installing a Vaillant ecoTec Plus 938, you save a substantial amount of money by NOT installing an additional hot water cylinder. Annual hot water cylinder servicing will also be unnecessary. Therefore, this will add some money every year to your pocket.
The whole unit (boiler and cylinders) is integrated and covered by 10 YEARS manufacturer warranty. We have installed many of the ecoTec Plus 938 boilers without complaints of this particular boiler model. Please note this kind of solution is not suitable for huge properties like 6 bed houses with multiple bathrooms.
